The Dying Daisy

The Dying Daisy is an essential part of my work. The daisy is how I sign my artwork—so it shows up, in some form, in every painting I do.

My daisy is not just a recurring element in the artwork, it’s meaning is also a recurring theme—The flawed, the dying, the defective, the impaired, anything considered less than, are all important parts of life.

The Dying Daisy shows that just because something isn’t perfect doesn’t mean it isn’t still beautiful.
