I have been captured by the idea of a parasitic matter that can manipulate the objects and areas in its wake. This series highlights that there is beauty in something unpleasant like a dependent leech type creature. I love that the matter can manifest itself in a goop, a cloud-like shape, or a sci-fi gel. These images will continue to pop up in my work but this will be the series that started this aesthetic.
